    Prep is everything.

    Definitely want to pre spray the hardware you’ll be loosening on the exhaust and EGR with penetrating oil every time you park the truck for the night starting from the moment you confirm the order leading up to the install and use a wire wheel on the exhaust bolts as well as make sure the truck is HOT when you take out the EGR crossover bolts from the manifold and use plenty of penetrant during their removal and have patience or it’ll cost you.

    let it breath

    install was easy, little nervous about breaking old bolt off, sprayed with WD couple weeks before removal and had to use punch to tap on existing bolts to break bolt loose

    Those bolts are always scary to deal with! Glad you were able to get them off without snapping them!
